Our Easter

It started off with a neighborhood Easter egg hunt at Nana and Papa's.

Followed by decorating and eating mounds of sugar cookies.

On Easter morning the Easter bunny brought baskets full of toys and candy. Beckett's favorite: the raisins.

Grahams favorite: the grass. So who gets all the candy? Mom I suppose. It is a bit overwhelming but I'm up for the challenge.

Although Easter certainly seems to be about the candy, I was grateful that we were blessed to fill the weekend with words from our prophet and apostles. What better way to remember the sacrifice and resurrection of our Savior, bringing us Eternal life with our families, then to hear the testimonies of His witnesses with insightful counsel teaching us how to apply His teachings to our lives. What a wonderful weekend. Now what will last longer, the candy our the counsel?

With how much candy we got it BETTER be the counsel ;) Blast that Easter candy - it sure is good. I love Beckett's face in the first picture. And Evan was a total fan of the 'grass' as well. I wish all children were that easy to please :)
